It’s not only that Land of Hope is based in Canada but Canada lies in the heart of Land of Hope and all its members being Canadian themselves. Ever since 2012 when it was founded, Land of Hope launches several outreach events and ministries in Canada like Victorious Festivals, Impact community outreaches, Erselny conferences (aimed at the Arabic speaking community) this is in addition to owning and managing Anchor Retreat Centre that is the Christian retreat centre located at a central location between major Canadian cities: Toronto, Montreal, Kingston and Ottawa.
How it all started?
About 10 years ago, God burdened a servant of the Lord with the vision of reaching out and impacting the community with the hopeful message of Jesus Christ. In February of 2012, the founder of the ministry started the journey towards changing our lands into “LAND OF HOPE”.
By sharing and growing the vision, a group of 9 volunteers; who immigrated to Canada between 5-15 years back then from Egypt; are working towards the vision of transforming communities by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. God had provided various talents and expertise in the team of Land of Hope including finance, IT, engineering and medicine.
With every dream, God has provided to turn it into reality. In 2017, God has given us the down payment to turn Anchor Retreat Centre into reality. With every year that passes by, God has amazed us with covering all the ministries financial needs generously.
